Rod Woodson VS. IU 1986 Bucket Game

In my mind the most dominate and entertaining performance ever played by one player on Defense,Offense and Special Teams. Congrats Rod!!!!!
At the game and when you think back how great a football player he was. Both ways that day, there will never be another Woodson at Purdue.

I remember that game, and I was there when Rod took the ball out of Chris Carters hands at the OSU 45 and then I blinked twice and he had returned that pick for a TD .On the field for Purdue in that upset win were Woodson,Dishman,Strickland on defense, and Jim Everett,Ray Wallace,Rodney Carter,Steve Griffin and Mark Jackson on offense. The Buckeyes had Mike Tomsack,Keith Byars,Carter,Rory Graves,Jim Lachey,Kirk Lowdermilk William White and Chris Spielman. Was that field loaded with future NFL talent,or what?

One of my favorites in High School, at Purdue and especially with the Steelers.

I will be wearing my Rod Woodson Steelers jersey Saturday and like I do every weekend for the Steelers games.

What a true Boilermaker....wish he could come back and help with our football program somehow....I am sure he does in some way.

Love that he is part of the Boilermaker Nation!

Boiler Up!

Agree with all the previous posts. Probably one of my favorite memories of any individual player. Total dominance.
