RIP

I really hope Purdue does something to honor him permanently. It isn't often that a player, or person can bring so much positive attention to a sport and a school. When a player does this they are honored with a retired number or all american honors. I would love to see some sort of a shrine, statue, or something to honor and acknowledge this young mans achievements! God bless him and his family.

Condolences to his family, friends and extended family of the Purdue community. This young man had to endure far too much yet through it all touched and inspired more than most will ever know. Hopefully knowing what an impact he had on others will provide some comfort to his loved ones.

Tyler, may you rest in peace. You were a Boilermaker through and through. You will always be remembered. Prayers go out to your family.

Boiler Up and Hammer Down Cancer! You will be missed!!

Incredibly sad to see someone so young die, but inspiring to see how he handled his situation knowing it was terminal. Hopefully his family will find peace in the coming days.

When I have a big problem in 2019 that I have to overcome I will think of Tyler's strength and find a way to get through it. God bless you, Tyler, and let him give support to your saddened loved ones.

Rest In Peace Tyler. An amazing young man that inspired so many and kept a positive attitude and kept fighting in the most difficult of times. Kept sharing his faith and love of the Lord through it all. A great example. You will not be forgotten.
