RIP this morning news in Hampton, VA

I had the fortunate/unfortunate experience of helping Eric during my time at Purdue University. Troubled but kind and respectful.
"One" of the most physically gifted football players that I have had the pleasure to see play in Ross Ade Stadium. I`m sure others may remember the time that he threw a ball from the opponents 15 or 20 yard line while rolling right and the Purdue receiver caught the ball while standing in the North West corner of the end zone against Michigan.
I think he holds or once held the title of being the only freshman QB to throw for four TDs or four TDs in a fourth Qtr against a Michigan team...
God bless RIP #9

Too young to die.....he was at Purdue when I was there and I have fond memories playing basketball with him at "the cages" just watching him play and passing him the ball and watching him go ...so athletic.

RIP.
Remember watching him pretty much beat IU single-handedly as a freshman down in Bloomington in 1989. They had the better team, the heisman candidate, and were one win from a bowl game, but had no answer for him. So gifted.

Great "No Bowl, No Bucket, No Heisman, No s***" shirts at the time.
