thanks for the laughs and movies.

Yeah it does - I went to bed last night thinking two thoughts:

1. Good Will Hunting changed my life - it is a shame that Williams won't be around to continue making movies like that.

2. Depression can hide itself in even the most seemingly joyful places, and it can be so deadly.

yeah, ex wife was dual diagnosed w/ Bipolar and Alcohol issues, 3 suicide attempts, didn't kill her but killed the marriage.

Williams himself dealt with cocaine and alcohol problems for many years. Once he started using, he had serious trouble stopping. He and John Belushi were close friends and abused cocaine together often, until Belushi died.

This is just so sad. He talked a few times publicly about "the voices in his head" and what they often lead him to do.

I thought he was to meet Belushi or had left Belushi earlier on the Belushi died. I can't stand Woodward and it's been a long long time since I swallowed hard and read Wired.

Be that as it may, as more is coming out, it appears to have been more than just depression, depression may kill, who knows, but IMHO it is deadly but needs help to become so.
