Request from an MSU guy

I know that Purdue and MSU get into it about hoops and at times there is not a lot of love lost between the two. However - I am hoping we can find some common ground this Saturday. I am guessing that many of the Purdue faithful heard the Izzone chanting 'We hate Dakich' during the MSU-OSU game on Tuesday. As you may or may not know Dakich made some crappy statements about MSU that got the Izzone all ticked off. Anyway - I am guessing that many of the Purdue faithful are fans of Dakich either since he is an IU guy and, for lack of better words, is pretty full of himself. Would be pretty cool to see the Purdue student section chant the same thing at Dakich on Saturday.

I used to think Dakich was a pretty decent announcer, but now he is too much of a know it all and I prefer to hit the mute button when he is announcing.

Yeah, not gonna happen. Dakich has always been pretty respectful, fair, and sometimes outright glowing about the Purdue program. He stumps for Swanigan as POY, and has been a vocal advocate for Mathias as DPOY.

I think the only thing that Dakich did wrong was the whole 'Izzone not smart enough to get into UM' thing.

Other than that, he was spot on about the whining.

If you listened to DD's show today, I was a caller on air who made a couple of cracks about MSU fans being slaps and a former coworker being a D bag. Dakich seemed to appreciate it.

And to the OP begging the Paint Crew to rip on DD, sorry tool, ain't happening. Perhaps you need to find a safe space to deal with what was obviously a traumatic experience of being told you weren't smart enough to get into UM. (Which is probably true).
