Multibillionaire Leslie Wexner, reputedly Ohio's wealthiest citizen and a lifelong R, announced he was no longer a Republican but an Independent. It happened following a meeting with Obama.

"I'm an independent," he said. "I won't support this nonsense in the Republican Party. I've been a Republican since college, joined the Young Republican Club at Ohio State.

Leslie Wexner [richest man in Ohio] in Ohio and Seth Klarman, a billionaire from Boston, are both now Independents supporting Democrats although they had previously only funded Republicans. Klarman said that Democrats must take the House as the only option to "act as a check and balance" on Trump. Very interesting and thought-provoking to read his rationale.
