Purdue secured commitments from DL Isaiah Nichols, OL Jalen Grant and DB Anthony Brown in the transfer portal. Here are the write ups for those commitments:
2024 recruits:
Boo Carter:
Sunday night, Purdue offered four-star athlete
Boo Carter from Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Boilermakers are recruiting Carter as a defensive back. He is rated as the No. 69 player in the 2024 recruit class, according to Rivals.
Carter released his top five on December 27th of Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, Colorado and Michigan. Despite that list, Purdue is attempting to make a late push to land Carter.
Brauntae Johnson:
2024 wide receiver and Fort Wayne, Indiana native Brauntae Johnson was re-offered by Cory Patterson and Purdue. He was offered by the previous staff in West Lafayette.
Johnson is one of the top players in the state and is ranked 53rd in the 2024 recruiting class by Rivals. He is going to be a priority for the new staff.
Jordan King:

Mylan Graham:
New Haven, Indiana native Mylan Graham was re-offered by the new Purdue staff after initially receiving an offer from Jeff Brohm.
The four-star wide receiver will be another high-priority target for the Boilermakers in next year's class. Rivals rates him as the 38th overall prospect in the class of 2024 and the second best player in the state of Indiana.
Foster Slaughter:
The first offer to a California native was given to 2024 safety Foster Slaughter. Slaughter earned the offer from new cornerbacks coach Sam Carter, who recruited him at Ole Miss previously.
