Recruiting and coach firings

With Groce out and Crean on the way I hope Painter pays attention to Illinois recruit Jeremiah Tillman 6-10" center and Indiana recruit Justin Smith 6-7" F.......if they are allowed back on the market. I know Painter recruited Smith......and Tillman....I know a big of that calibre #1 recruit in Illinois would add to our decent class......

Another guy who might be available is Thomas Allen....Wheeler"s teammate on Brewster Academy...he is headed to NCST but their. Coach is gone. He was the mvp of the prep league.....and if released will be highly coveted. He will likely be a scorer for whom ever gets him. To be the Mvp of that prep league says something.

People also have to remember that Painter will not recruit a committed player. So it would have to be the player who contacts Purdue and with the number of coaches who don't care that isn't likely to happen. Swanigan was a special situation where Barnes was influential in the switch, but it was Caleb who changed his mind.

I think with commited players they have to open up first......then Painter and all coaches have a shot. Yes, Painter will not inquire on committed players....nor would you want him to.

Tremont Waters has requested his release from Georgetown. Not a coach firing, but it's a bad situation at Georgetown right now.

Well they need a pg so you would think so.....but who knows how the situation with Crean will play out.

I hope that Crean wont want everyone to be dead like Bobby wants. I think Tommy is a tad bid smarter than that.
