Rebounding?

Also of note: Painter mentioned Taylor was back at practice today.
We are not a bad rebounding team. It's just that we have been spoiled wth Biggie for the last 2 years. Also we need to dominate rebounding more than others in order to live off 3 points shots. I'm sure Painter would like the team to improve in that area, but I doubt it's such a huge concern.
I think we'll be fine-VE has always been a good offensive rebounder. We saw glimpses of Taylor this summer when healthy being very good on the boards and I would assume Haas/Haarms will get theirs simply due to positioning and height.
I was at Purdue when Willie was there....still have no dignity from when Willie JUMPED OVER ME during a Co-Rec game and dunked it. No, I wasn't attempting to take a charge...I didn't see him flashing off the wing on a 3 on 1 fast break. Guy dished it after faking a layup...THAT I WASN'T GOING TO CONTEST BECAUSE ITS THE DAMN COREC....and Willie jumped over me. I'm 6' tall....I shook his hand and immediately and threw the ball in bounds....never to speak of it again until today, lol.
Willie was a great Boiler!
one of the last of Frank's recruits..or one that Frank found I seem to recall Frank telling me. I don't recall Willie being nearly as quick as Carsen, but do recall him working ball screens at the top of the key very well...and a more deliberate shot...
yes he was. I don't know the specifics, but at a LCC game I talked with Frank a bit...about the athletic dept in general and Willie as well adn I seem to recall that Frank said he got the ball roplling for Willie. Now this was a time I think FRank had been released, but I'm sure he said he had "something" to do with Wille...and yes he was a BC transfer. Perhaps I misunderstood FRank as well, but I do know that was discussed
