Felt like a lone wolf today, but quietly and thoroughly enjoyed the beating. Some said the booing (both at refs and players) was the worst its ever been. It was raucous.

Only wish we hadnt taken foot off gas in Q4. Should have used Moore right to the end cuz they didnt know what to do with him. Crowd was saying how damn good Rondale was. Defense was in hyper bend-dont-break guided by refs letting massive holding calls go in the open field after the beating they took for calling all the penalties they did on home team.

And hotel has all tvs on Neb girls vball instead of the 2 top 10 fball games. They so deserve this beating streak theyre on!

Man, I can't imagine how frustrated the fans are. They are off to a terrible start.

The natives are increasingly restless. Some of the 60+ crowd not sure they'll be alive for any more glory. I tried to be gracious. They may be right. This aint the 90s.

By next year a LOT of people in that state will want to go back to the big 12

Think back to 2016...

But what’s funny is, at least their fans are this mad now... hazell was this bad on day one, and if you wanted him fired immediately before he was actually allowed to recruit more classes, you were told you were just a bitter bears fan... by people who thought John shoop was good.

Shoop defenders are like Chicago Bears grossman defenders.. MIA in witness protection but they existed in droves

College volleyball.is on par with most soft core porn. Sounds like a free upgrade to me. Quit yer bitching.

There was no booing of the players or coaches, it was solely directed at the refs.

If anyone should be bitching about a tough place to recruit, it would be Scott Frost. Lincoln sucks. There's absolutely nothing appealing about it.

To each their own I guess, but my son and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Lincoln a couple years ago minus the score of the basketball game.

I was partially kidding. People use location, weather, etc as a recruiting disadvantage all the time.

I thought the fans were great to us. I probably had 10+ say good job Boilers, good luck, or high five me as we walked past each other. Having been on the other side so many times I am a very humble winner.

I did think the area with all bars that was south of the basketball arena was pretty neat. It looked like there were more scattered about town.

there was definite booing esp. when we had some injuries (whether real or not)
I think early in the game there were boos directed at Purdue’s defensive players. I think the fans thought the injuries were bogus or something and were trying to slow our offense down.
Still doesn’t justify it though. Not usual for Nebraska fans to do that. I did not like seeing that. What if the poor kid really is hurt? It’s just a game. No need for that shit.

I spent some time last week visiting a site called cornation.com to get a feel of what to expect during the game Saturday. I took one more look today to get their view of the game. The consensus opinion was Purdue is a lot better than any of us thought. Sure did make me feel good. Boiler Up. Onto Illinois.

If you ask me, they never should have fired Pelini. He was struggling to adjust to B1G but he was making a progress. I could never understand the logic behind firing a coach who has never won less than 9 games every year in a Power 5 conference.

I can. You want to win your conference, win a major bowl game, or win a national championship. Being good but never getting there isn't good enough for many people. I would prefer a coach that has possibly good and bad seasons, but manages to win it all occasionally. After all, it sucks never being #1 in something and never better than #2.
