I normally don’t visit the IU board much, but they are having a complete meltdown over there!
I’m sure the fire Brohm crew is getting lathered up over here
At least time for a new DC.I'd say the criticize Brohm crowd has a reason to get lathered up...

I’m sure you’ll relish the 7 days to say the same thing over and over and over. Maybe toss in a few Danny Hope comparisons to seal the idiocy?I'd say the criticize Brohm crowd has a reason to get lathered up...

Defensive backfield cannot get any worse, either no talent, the coach or bothAgain, I'd be surprised to see either Youboty or English make it thru bye week...
At this point, you have to make a statement that this type of performance is unacceptable...
Not allowed to question mediocrity. Same issues since game one. He is a good OC. No better than Danny Hope as HC.I'd say the criticize Brohm crowd has a reason to get lathered up...
OK Mrs. Brohm. Calm down. Nobody's talking about firing Jeff. So you'll get to continue to live your life of luxury in Louisville.Get off of Coach Brohm’s ass. He’s in a tough situation! He’s slowly getting things turned around. Losing Coach Lambert hurt! They’ll get better. Hard to find a better HC! We are lucky to have him. Remember the Hazel days set Purdue back big time
I hope he doesn't take as long as Illinois did to turn it around. Hell WI turned it around in midseason. Maybe Lambert didn't want to be co-coordinator with the idiot we have now.Get off of Coach Brohm’s ass. He’s in a tough situation! He’s slowly getting things turned around. Losing Coach Lambert hurt! Why do people use Hazel as a reason to justify mediocracy?Get off of Coach Brohm’s ass. He’s in a tough situation! He’s slowly getting things turned around. Losing Coach Lambert hurt! same reason some post about iu's folliesWhy do people use Hazel as a reason to justify mediocracy?
The same Danny Hope who inherited a fairly talented Joe Tiller team and won 5, then 4 games? Not allowed to question mediocrity. Same issues since game one. He is a good OC. No better than Danny Hope as HC.
The same Danny Hope who inherited a fairly talented Joe Tiller team and won 5, then 4 games?
The same Danny Hope who finished better than last in the conference in recruiting one time while he was here?
The same Danny Hope who outside of like 1 upset in 4 years struggled to be competitive with anybody with a better than .500 record?
This program is LIGHT YEARS beyond where it was when hope was the coach here. I get that you're upset we lost, upset that Purdue can't get over the hump, etc.... but the comparisons to Danny Hope are just asinine. Brohm took a team that was the least talented in the league, couldn't complete a pass vs. air and turned it into a winning record overnight. Yes, the injuries in 2019 and the Covid 2020 year weren't great and set us back a bit (especially in his WL record) but the 9 win season in 2021 and a likely 8/9/10 win season this year is miles from where we were under Hope, Hazell or 75+% of coaches this program has ever had.
Are there better coaches out there? Sure, but they already have P5 jobs.
Some of yall need to calibrate your meds better....the bi polar fandom is showing.
Yep, that Danny Hope. Hope recruited better linemen and remember the mighty Joe Tiller's best years were with Coletto recruits. Two weeks to get things straightened out and beat Iowa. The same Danny Hope who inherited a fairly talented Joe Tiller team and won 5, then 4 games?

Uhm, no. Look, I get you don't like Brohm. I also don't really like how this season has progressed. But to compare him to Hope is really almost laughable...Yep, that Danny Hope. Hope recruited better linemen and remember the mighty Joe Tiller's best years were with Coletto recruits. Two weeks to get things straightened out and beat Iowa.
Not at all. Mousa, Mbow and Hartwig all have Sunday potential. Hopes lines weren’t any good cohesively….remember all we did was throw screen passes because we couldn’t run nor could we protect.Yep, that Danny Hope. speaking of screen passes, would be nice if we would try some. Mock has good hands and send him out there when a blitz seems to be coming. Not at all. Don’t disagree.speaking of screen passes, would be nice if we would try some. Mock has good hands and send him out there when a blitz seems to be coming.
don't bring him up, his loss was huge, look I'm not one of those guys that want guys players where 4th grade was really hard on them but he had one more yr to go, make sure a tutor is on him or whatever it takes to make him elligible.Don’t disagree.
On another point…how bad did Milton Wright screw us?
Answer: not as much as himself but he’d be a STAR on this team.
Tiller’s best year two years were 2000 and 2003 and there were very few Colletto recruits around at that point in 2000 and obviously none were around in 2003.Yep, that Danny Hope. Hope recruited better linemen and remember the mighty Joe Tiller's best years were with Coletto recruits. Two weeks to get things straightened out and beat Iowa.
Or, we can celebrate "relevance" again (albeit fraudulent relevance), and, continue to ignore how bad the two individuals cited (English and Youboty) actually are at doing their respective jobs...yet, allowed to suck at them largely.I’m sure you’ll relish the 7 days to say the same thing over and over and over. Maybe toss in a few Danny Hope comparisons to seal the idiocy?
Definitely both...sad as well that it is both. 4th option as DC(s), and, STILL have not solved the problem(s)...really hard to imagine.Defensive backfield cannot get any worse, either no talent, the coach or both
If by "Sunday potential" you mean as an analyst somewhere, I might by it...but, Hartwig is fortunate to even be playing on Saturdays...and, if he were not at Purdue, he would not be at a ton of other places. Not at all. Mousa, Mbow and Hartwig all have Sunday potential. Hopes lines weren’t any good cohesively….remember all we did was throw screen passes because we couldn’t run nor could we protect.
For as often as it succeeds against Purdue, if nothing else, you would think that Purdue's staff might think about using it against an opponent, but, not been the case for whatever reason(s).speaking of screen passes, would be nice if we would try some. Mock has good hands and send him out there when a blitz seems to be coming.
Shame on him for being in the position that he was, but, that it somehow even got to the point that it did is a problem, and, that it seemingly snuck up on the staff an even bigger one. It is Wright's fault certainly, but, really really difficult to understand how things got as bad as they did.don't bring him up, his loss was huge, look I'm not one of those guys that want guys players where 4th grade was really hard on them but he had one more yr to go, make sure a tutor is on him or whatever it takes to make him elligible.
Blah Blah Blah, nonsense, nonsense, nonsense hopefully you have no academic affiliation to any BIG TEN university.Shame on him for being in the position that he was, but, that it somehow even got to the point that it did is a problem, and, that it seemingly snuck up on the staff an even bigger one. I was going to commend you for a somewhat coherent complete sentence, but, you even messed that up...not surprising...even a little.Blah Blah Blah, nonsense, nonsense, nonsense hopefully you have no academic affiliation to any BIG TEN university.
