RB coach Chris Barclay

- King Doerue started to come on later last season
- Seeing leadership from Doerue
- I take improving the run game personal
- I have to understand who we are offensively
- Sampson James done a good job; he cares; Doerue is helping him; excited where he is headed
- Good to have multiple guys
- Devin Mockobee has been a pleasant surprise; productive in high school; good with ball; like a wet bar of soap trying to tackle him
- Dylan Downing is a hard worker, tough; plays special teams; banged up last year with shoulder; has dropped weight; looks good
- Tyrone Tracy is at least like Jackson Anthrop; needs 6-7 carries a game; has tools; he’s sturdy; has good hips; is a natural; was a good RB in high school
- Zander Horvath is smart, he cares; NFL teams are asking questions about him; could be Day 3 pick; depends on how he runs

RB King Doerue

- Working on getting better at second level so I can make the home run play
- I am oldest guy; need to bring other guys along; lead
- Stepped up when Horvath got hurt last year
- Taking baby steps now as a RB unit
- Sampson James is physical, good on his feet
- Mockobee is learning playbook. He will be good for us
- OL is looking better than ever; they watch film with us sometimes
