No opening throw pick six, or game ending pick six. No INT to the wide open linebacker. No fumbled snaps or exchanges. That's progress, right?
I don't know if it was play calling, but Blough forced a lot of throws into the inside slant, just gunning it through defenders. Hopefully that will change next week when they open up the playbook some more. Hopefully.
He also had some overthrows and only connected on one deep pass for the TD. He needs to work on timing.
The INT wasn't a poor throw as much as a good pick by the dude from TA&M, but he has a lot of long passes to the sideline that just scream "Pick Six!" if the DB ever jumps the route.
