Purdue's next Burger Boy?

I think the field is like 750 people right now and it'll be narrowed down to the final roster in a week or two.

If he were committed to Duke, Ky or KS he would stand a better chance..... Only partly TIC!!

Not sure how many nominees there are initially, but CJ Walker, the guard we had and then lost (to be replaced eventually by Carsen), was also on the nominated list. I, for one, am much happier we have Carsen.

As soon as CJ Walker got the ronjon sauce endorsement I was over him.

Dan Dakich said same thing about Cline numerous times. Edwards has played good enough on a highly ranked team nationally to have a shot.
We'll find out January 17.
The nomination list is pretty broad with that many people. If you remember, Travis Carroll was a nominee.

There were 50 nominees in Indiana my senior year of HS and 3 on my HS team. It doesn't really mean much in terms of the actual McD's game.

You'd think being the leader of the #1 high school team, with multiple high profile tournament mvp honors would be the kind of resume to get a player in. Hope so - would be great for Edwards and Purdue... Having a couple McD's on the team (along with a good season) should help with recruiting from that talented '17 class. Might even help us get another good player for next year.

Carson Edwards, he is surely one of the best 26 players in the country. Can't miss. Get your tickets now. I am getting my tickets now to watch Grant Gelon, another nominee.
