Here's Purdue's Big Ten schedule ...

A couple quick thoughts ...
• Purdue gets a chance to establish itself as a contender (or otherwise) with the back-to-back-to-back of @ Michigan/vs. Michigan State/@ Maryland from Jan. 9-18.
• For the first time, I think since December Big Ten games began, Purdue gets to ease into it, because Northwestern should be awful and even if Nebraska is surprisingly good this season under Fred Hoiberg, then getting them early might be an advantage, because they have a ton of new faces.
That said, January is a beast for Purdue.
• Obviously the Big Ten pairings were already known, but the breaks here are significant, getting Michigan State only once and it being a home game, while getting Northwestern, Rutgers, Illinois all twice.
• Purdue may get a chance to have some success heading into the postseason, with three of those last four games at home and finishing up with that home game against Rutgers.
