I’ve been compiling the stats for all of the WU games (including the exhibitions). Not a lot can be taken from looking at pre-season stats, but my thought is that 7 games are more informative than 4 games, especially because some of the “exhibitions” have been our most competitive games. I have a beautiful excel spreadsheet with the combined box score, but no way to post it on here. Below, I’ve listed some of the main stats. If there is interest, I will continue to do so as Purdue continues to play more games.

Scoring and Shooting
VEd (18.0) .600/.526/.769
Haas (14.6) .804/.000/.783
CEd (12.1) .338/.326/.773
D. M. (10.6) .441/.452/.889
Cline (9.6) .468/.424/.900
PJT (9.3) .333/.333/.857
Sasha (7.3) .405/.345/.714
Nojel (6.4) .545/.000/.563
Taylor (6.0) .531/.333/.538
Grady (5.4) .471/.167/.833
A. W. (4.0) .419/.222/.000
Ewing (2.1) .538/.000/.333

TEAM (104.1 PPG) .490/.371/.750

Rebounds and Assists
Haas 7.4 REB, 10 AST/13 TO
VEd 6.9 REB, 11 AST/12 TO
Taylor 6.4 REB, 8 AST/7 TO
D. M. 4.0 REB, 21 AST/12 TO
Grady 3.7 REB, 4 AST/6 TO
CEd 3.1 REB, 22 AST/14 TO
Cline 2.6 REB, 14 AST/4 TO
A. W. 2.6 REB, 2 AST/11 TO
Nojel 2.4 REB, 14 AST/17 TO
Ewing 1.9 REB, 6 AST/3 TO
PJT 1.9 REB, 20 AST/8 TO
Sasha 1.1 REB, 4 AST/8 TO

TEAM (44.1 REB), 136 AST/116 TO

Some stats that didn’t make it on here that I thought were interesting:

1) Jacquil leads the team with 12 blocks. Haas has 11.
2) Carsen leads the team in MPG (25.1), FGA (80), and 3FGA (43), despite being pretty inefficient from the field.

Forgive my ignorance.
Under shooting is that...
(Avg pts) 2pt % / 3pt % / FT %

Thanks for all the work.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I don't know how much Wheeler will help this year. And it's so hard to know with Ewing. It's a bummer he got to campus late.

The most impressive stat I see is Haas's field goal percentage, although VE's shooting is also very impressive.

Very nice! There is something to like for every single player. And there is still room for improvement.

Yes. Thank you. Although I have a bar blocking lines 2 and 3

Thanks for posting. The thing that stands out to me is all the turnovers. Even guys like pj and Mathias have a lot.

Does Sasha get his points in mop up time?
