Purdue will never win a national championship with Matt Painter

.....as their head coach. This is coming from a long-time Purdue fan. It won't ever happen until a head coach (outside of the Keady-coaching "tree") is hired. The board of trustees need to appoint a successful and progressive athletic director that will hire someone outside of the Keady family. That's my takeaway after watching Keady and Painter teams in the NCAA Tournament for three decades.

Keady did choke alot in the NCAA like Painter, so I agree with you! I saw Purdue do alot of self destructive things today

In the end isn't that the goal to have fun and win the tourney? Just like winning big bowl games is the goal in football. We aren't just a super unlucky school who always plays teams that hit lucky shots its just not possible that everytime the game gets close Painter walks away with a L.
