Purdue women's basketball, along with Dayton and Texas A&M have all pulled out of the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic. Las Vegas has been under heat already this season as a result of their poor conditions in a tournament last month.

Hearing that some of the same issues were feared of this event, causing the teams to withdraw.

Purdue will play Texas A&M on December 21st in College Station now.

Well, that sucks
Why? It gives us a chance to play a true road game against an SEC opponent. Something you've been harping on repeatedly that our current OOC schedule does not have. Cancelling a game vs. a cupcake should also not bother you as well as you say those games don't matter.

Campbell won the Big South last year, they were not the level of cupcake we have been feasting on. But its one less winnable game and Campbell if they are in the top couple of the Big South again would be an upward push on our RPI at the end of the year. Also hate losing the tournament atmosphere for team building.

They are currently 4-3 with a recent 12 pt loss to vaunted Norfolk State. It's a completely new world in college sports where you can't compare many teams seasons from a year ago and you especially can't take into account any preseason order of finish prognostication, unless you've become an expert on how each team's offseason went and how many players each school lost to the portal. And even then it's still hard to predict. This is especially true with small school conferences, as many of them were absolutely ravaged by the transfer portal and have 6-7-maybe even 8 newcomers. You can't accurately predict how a conference season will go when you're facing so much unknown, rendering preseason predictions useless save maybe for the Power 5 conferences.

But fact is - it would've been an easy win and after said blow out you would be on this boarding waxing on poetically about how awful you think our schedule is because we are playing trash schools like Campbell.

I will just leave it at you are wrong, and attacking what you ASSume someone will say says far more about you than it does about who you are attacking. It's just like your attempts to use RPI for SOS but not the actual RPI which is laughable since it's the same formula, just ranking the results differently.... LOL It either works or doesn't, you cannot pick and choose which results from it are accurate now and which are not..........

And Campbell may be diminished from last season that's why they play the games, but they are still better than 2-3 Marshall (2-3) that you were pumping up as vastly improved after they played us tough

Our SOS is now 14... here is the schedule of the team with the #13 SOS

@Marist
@Northwestern
@St Josephs
Villanova
@San Fran
@USC
@LaSalle

Please please please try and defend that ridiculous rating Pride LOL
