My wife and I try to get to 2 away games each year, and are planning to come to the Purdue game this year.

Can anyone give us some ideas of places we should see while in West Lafayette and any recommendations of camp grounds. We will be travelling in a motorhome. Finally, any information regarding tailgating would be appreciated. Thanks and good luck this season.

Just off campus is a great state park. Prophetstown State Park is a great place if you'd like that type of setup and want to be here for more than just overnight Friday. I would put it about 10-15 minutes from the stadium.

Tailgating for an RV is very limited and about a 15-20 minute walk to the stadium out by the airport.

don't forget the champagne to celebrate your teams rout.

Thanks for the information. I doubt we will be drinking much champagne this year as we seem to be a couple years away from that, but I do think we will have an entertaining style of play.

Looking forward to seeing Purdue University. Good luck this year. If you see our motorhome with Penn State stuff around it, stop by and say hi.

you will after you play us, Barkley will prolly run for 200 in the game. Also bring out some Yuengling Chesterfield Ale, much better than the Lager.

I would recommend bringing a good book to read in the 2nd half when you are up 30, or maybe a pillow.
