Purdue Video from SEC land.

he said they have a great offensive line.

Purdue has given up 8 sacks so far this season...an average of nearly 3 per game. Michigan's offensive line has done the same. If Purdue can get pressure with their front four and have an ability to leave their LB's in pass coverage by dropping 7, that is going to be a big advantage for Purdue. On the flip side, I reckon Purdue will probably do more doubling of the interior DL along with keeping a TE/RB to chip a DE on the backside to prevent pressure from coming from the blind side.

Brown tends to be a very aggressive defensive play caller and I imagine we will see more WR screens and quick hitters to the slot/TE's to negate some of that pressure. If Brohm can get the LB's pushed back in to covering the flats more and more, it will allow our RB's more room to run. This is where a healthy Markell Jones would be beneficial because he tends to be the more complete back in terms of blitz pickup, catching out of the backfield, and running more north and south to get yards....just need to make sure he doesn't grab a case of the fumbles.

Great point on Jones. He would be a big help against this D.

I'd like to see them continue to get the ball in Wright's hands. That kid is really fast, sets up his blocks well and hits the open field quickly.
I think my favorite part of the O though is the use of the TEs and screens.

Nothing like the back handed complement as to why Purdue got Brohm instead of a SEC or PAC12. Yeah, the Big Ten just sucks at football I guess.

God I get sick of these SEC people.

Well, as much as I dislike hearing an SEC person dis PU, we've stunk worse than hot garbage for 4 straight years. We were a guaranteed W on virtually everyone's schedule. We deserve the low blows but hopefully JB gets Purdue back to a program that can beat anyone they play.

I said in a diff post that I am concerned that UM will be able to put pressure on Blough with their athleticism. David gets nervous when he can't see. I expect this game could be in Joey's hands which is fine with me.
