After being on the road for the last couple weeks, the Boilermakers return home on Monday for a game vs. Ball State.

Won't be an easy one, with the Cardinals (6-0) coming in undefeated. They score about 82 points per game, 17 more than their opponents. Maybe one of the best Ball State teams in recent memory, ranking up there with the NCAA team from a few years ago.

Couple notes:
- Dani Lawson is out with sore knees. No timetable on her return. She joins Fatou Diagne (foot) on the bench.

- Purdue's getting good shots, Sharon Versyp says, but is missing them, a big reason for its loss at Georgia Tech.

More from Versyp ...

Doesn’t sound good to be playing this team now
We always seem to stuggje with depth and injures every year
This team could go either way

Basing your team's success on making shots is foolish. The great coaches have always preached defense and rebounding as one can control one's own effort.
