Do you think the team is unphased by all the media talk and hype (NCAA Projected Bracket reveal, winning at IU, etc.) and prepared to bring their "A" game Tuesday night? What's the best way for the team to mentally prepare for this game? I think that's really the main obstacle going into and getting past it.

If I'm CMP I'm playing the disrespect card hard going into this one and emphasizing the importance of showing up and playing our best each game the rest of the way to earn that respect. I'm also telling them that the Wisconsin loss gives us renewed hopes for a B1G Championship but we have absolutely no room for error. We must win out and that starts with Rutgers.

Lastly the team has only three opportunities left to play in front of their fans this season so they should make the most of each of those.

Interestingly, the last home game is Indiana....that doesn't happen very often.

wasnt painters last home game as a player against iu ? a win after getting torched by 41 in ass hall?

Rutgers has gone from being historically horrible last year to a team that can make life rough for anyone in the league this year. Remember, too, that Purdue pasted Rutgers 107-57 in NJ the last two times these teams met. I'm sure they haven't forgotten that.

I think this will be a tough test for about 30-35 minutes with Purdue taking control down the stretch.

I think that was the year before, 1992 (CMP's junior year)....the infamous Woody Austin game. That's the only time I can remember off the top of my head.

That was the last regular season game for the Boilers that season but they had Senior Day/Night vs. the Hoosiers in 2010 (Kramer, Grant, Mark Wohlford) before playing at Penn State in the regular season finale.

Most of us know that Thompson, Mathias, and Cline all shot relatively poorly at IU. Are they poised to bounce back tomorrow (shooting/scoring-wise) and of the three, who will have the best overall game?

good game for haas to get some swag back. crush this team and keep the pressure on whiskey.

I'm surprised to see how many bigs Rutgers has. Three or four (maybe Laurent or Sa play some in mid-range or on the perimeter) of their five bench regulars are basically post players. So, they have depth in the frontcourt but it's not very skilled at this point in time.
