Arizona drops 11 spots losing 3 in a row as a blueblood. Purdue drops out of ranking after beating Arizona by almost 30.

Must be nice. Though, getting beat so badly by WK was a stunning defeat and it was in stunning fashion. Surprised to see Arizona still in top 15 w/3 losses.

Arizona drops 12. How many places did we fall? When you're 18th, you only need to fall 7 to drop out. Did you really expect Arizona to totally drop out? And, did you really think after losing to two unranked teams we'd stay in? You can call the poll comical. Maybe comical that we were in there in the first place. Or, that Arizona was a legit Top 10. Obviously both are currently overrated. Now, where we go from here? Time will tell as these polls are fluid. The longer the season goes, the more accurate they are. If we work our way back in, we will have deserved it. Had we beaten, Tenn, WKU and either beaten the Wildcats or gave them a good fight, we'd be sitting in the top 10 likely right now. I'm not going to waste time being upset that Arizona stayed in, and more on what the hell just happened to us in the Bahamas. Painter has some crap to figure out and quickly.

Oh no doubt. The way Purdue played against Tenn & especially WK is just without words. Not even knocking on WKU because they played hard. Just that you compare the advantage Purdue had and to see a team 8 players, with several completely out of shape, just absolutely dominate Purdue inside I can't even blame rankings. I actually did expect Arizona to fall outside of the top 20 for sure. Absolutely. Most ranked teams currently are undefeated or at worst 1 loss. Let's just say and I absolutely sure of it, if Purdue was ranked 2nd and we lost to the teams Arizona did with closer margins 3 in a row Purdue would be completely out of top 20 and probably not ranked at all at that point. In that regard, completely shocked Arizona is still top 15. Highlighting the extent that the blueblood teams are favored by media. Rankings are unibjective completely to a certain point.

The boys said they played "entitled" at the beginning of the season. I see that reflected in the fan base.

I could be wrong but he's all for dumping painter for a younger coach that's not a for sure thing. I believe he was the guy that was all for Bryce Drew. I could be wrong, but regardless I'm so tired of all the negative on this board.

OMG YES!! I can guarantee you that if we go 5-0 we're back in the Top25. We can go back and forth on a bunch of nonsense, but the polls are not interested in it. Win, you move up...lose and you go down.

New polls won't be out for a few more hours. So everyone just take a deep breathe. I see us as maybe 24 or 25. Arizona I think drops to around 15. If we drop out of the top 25 we deserve it. Just win this week and we will be back in. Not worried about the polls yet though. Still way to early for that.
