I mentioned this kid the other day in the potential RB's in the portal threadI see Purdue offered Ky Thomas, a Minnesota RB who is in the Portal. He had over 800 rushing yards this year and was named the MVP of their bowl game.
Yep, I see that now, sorry. I missed that thread or else I would have just put this in there.I mentioned this kid the other day in the potential RB's in the portal thread
don't have to apologize, just pointed it out, he is a good rbYep, I see that now, sorry. I missed that thread or else I would have just put this in there.
He would be a welcomed addition for sure...don't have to apologize, just pointed it out, he is a good rb
only if he's an elite athlete, was recruited by the "right" programs, and can dunk.Seems like Minny RBs always tear up Purdue. Let's get this kid on the team. There's definitely a starting RB position up for grabs.
Yes, those are all good criteria.only if he's an elite athlete, was recruited by the "right" programs, and can dunk.
🤣
Any idea why he is in the portal??He would be a welcomed addition for sure...
He was 3rd or 4th on the depth chart, but moved up because of injuries. Everyone that was above him will be back next year including a 5th year for their top back Mohamed Ibrahim.Any idea why he is in the portal??
These guys scare me. Got lots of PT. MVP of the Bowl Game. What's the catch?
Is he a locker room cancer that the coaches have "suggested" he transfer?
If a guy is buried on the depth chart, I get it. But not sure I get this one.
I would share that concern, but, as Esox covered already, it does not appear to be the case here.Any idea why he is in the portal??

how about Oregon's Trey Benson who we offered out of h.s. or psu's Noah Cain? would be cool to get Cain and his first game would be against his old matesYes, those are all good criteria.
Unless you're Barry Sanders or Walter Payton, I like my RBs to be around 6'0, 215 with 4.4-4.5 speed.
am I having deja vu, or didn't you just recently post the same type of question? What's the word on Sampson James? I thought he was going to be our answer at RB next year? I'm sure Brohm wants depth but I'm curious if he's telling people that the starting job is there for a top transfer.
looking at other RB's in the portal, that Austin Jones looks intriguing, work horse type back, good balance, doesn't go down on contact, and good pass catcher out of the backfieldNo doubt Purdue is leaving a lot of rushing yards on the table the last few years. I think a stable of RBs consisting of this guy, James and Dorue looks great IMO.
It’s deja vuam I having deja vu, or didn't you just recently post the same type of question?
Are we somehow now flush with talent at RB?
