This is one of Northwestern's best teams ever, especially in terms of overall athleticism. However, something I noticed while going through the players' stats is that Northwestern is very foul prone. They have 5 players that average 2.5 fouls per game or more for the season. This can possibly bode very well for the Boilers' offensive attack (Swanigan, Haas, VE, etc.).

biggie and haas should play until they drop. NW has nothing for them. It will open up the snipers and we get downhill on these ncaa tourney wannabes. boiler up!

With Lindsey and Taphorn out, that definitely helps Purdue some on the defensive end. NW has Pardon, Skelly, and Benson in the post. Pardon is pretty good and Skelly has range out to the 3PT line. However, I agree that CS and IH should be in good position to create many scoring opportunities and draw a lot of fouls.
