Purdue lost a heartbreaker 3-2 to #2 Nebraska, at Nebraska. Sets were 22-25, 25-22, 25-23, 22-25 and 15-17. Purdue had match point at 15-14 in set 5 but Nebraska scored the final 3 points. Purdue made it difficult for themselves with 19 service errors in the match (and only 1 service ace). Still Purdue’s best match of the season to date.

If there’s such a thing as a good loss this is one, this won’t hurt at all in the RPI or whatever they call it.

We outplayed them, but the service errors never stopped. Many times when you have a lot of service errors, you also have a fair share of aces. That was not the case though. The ladies showed me that they can play with anyone.
