Went and caught the baseball game last night at Alexander Field, which is just a beautiful stadium off of 231, I always forget how nice it is until I get back there. Coach Goff's Boilermakers took on Indiana State, who was riding a six-game winning streak, and with their win over Purdue last night, they improved to 18-12, while Purdue dropped to 14-17.

This a pretty typical Purdue Baseball Team, that does not have much of a tradition. They really lack talented pitching, but in last night's loss, the bats couldn't even get going. With strong winds blowing out of Alexander, I was expecting a high-scoring contest, but it turned into more of how many $3 Coors Lights could I drink by the 7th inning.

That is the 2nd time this season that Purdue has lost to the Sycamores, something in my eyes that should just never happen. But, they have also lost to the Evansville Aces, again something that just should not happen. And what I mean by losing to Evansville, is I mean they lost all three of their games to them, just wild in my eyes, but hey, what are expectations?

Mike Bolton Jr for Purdue is seriously talented, he was 3 for 3 last night, but that was about the best highlight of the night. Paul Toetz DHd last night and is usually pretty consistent, but was 1 for 4 last night.

Purdue will host Penn State this weekend, where they hope to get back on track.
