Bring it, want to see another matchup, no way Purdue’s missing that many open looks, so many went in and out. TJD isn’t getting just 10 again but Hood Scafino isn’t going to play like that again, I don’t thing.

I think Purdue is #1 seed...and University of Indiana a #2 seed in BTT. Correction:

The b10 tournament has proven not to matter much for seeding and therefore means jack sh*t in my book. If Purdue didn’t need to figure itself out, I’d say win the first game and then take a dive.
Spot on. It ends on Sunday right before the selection show. They have even said the only thing that changes the selections is if a team not in as an at large wins the automatic bid. Like Iowa in 02. The B1G tournament actually kind of sucks.

Still too much in play for seeding. One more Purdue win gives us the 1. I expect Indinia to win their last 2 and be #2. I don't expect NW or Maryland to win out, which could bring another team into the top 4.
MD plays on the road against Ohio State and Penn State...easily winnable. Therefore...MD will be the #2 seed over the University of Indiana in BTT. NW will lose at Rutgers...and drop below the #2 line in BTT.
Maryland has only won one road game all year, at Minnesota when I think the Gophers had only 7 players. They really struggle to score on the road. Neither one of those games are easily winnable. Penn State could be fighting for their tournament chances.
Win for momentum. The last BIG to win it all won the regular season title, easily won the BTT and then won the Natty.
Ehhh. Ending on Sunday is stupid. It doesn’t matter in the grand scheme for the top 4-8 teams. If they did the tournament the right way it might matter more.
I think you should say University of Indiana one more time for those in the back,4 times is just not enough.

1) Purdue's record against the top half of the league is a whopping 3-4. If nothing else, a strong showing in Chicago would legitimize what is starting to look like a very shaky regular season title.
2) Purdue's all-time record in the B1G Tournament is an underwhelming 16-21. Our only championship came 14 years ago. Purdue is the last team that should be blowing this off.

I’d rather lose the BTT tournament than in the actual tourney. Speaking of probabilities to win that many games straight. Then again this team won what 18 straight to start the season?
We don’t need to legitimatize anything. We won the title. There’s nothing more to it.
I think the point is the BTT has been shown to not matter for NCAAT seeding. If Purdue is a 1 or 2 NCAAT seed going into the BTT, they’ll be a 1 or 2 NCAAT seed regardless of how they perform in the BTT. This should be used more as a glorified scrimmage to “get right” as opposed to a focus on winning the trophy that is regarded as not as important.

Or to play in as the automatic (if you are outside the bubble)bid by winning it. That’s the only thing that matters in their eyes.
