Purdue holds off Green Bay, wins opener (link)

Sucks following this on my phone, but I live in Illinois and the local station chose to show the highly regarded Oregon State vs Long Beach State which went over big in the Midwest, forgetting I guess that a Big Ten team might be of some interest in this area.
This was a good veteran Green Bay team and Borseth can coach. But Purdue had this game despite the end all the way and played a solid game. I have learned as a fan never to think any team has a game locked up (tho the current UConn team makes one question that) but the vast disparity in WBB makes it seem that at best Purdue can give ND a tough game, but maybe not. This one will prob be on TV Sunday and I will watch and whatever the results appreciate the grit this team has shown all year. And of course continue to pray for Coach V's recovery.
