Purdue had its senior Friday Night Lights elite camp thing tonight and had some players there who are or will serious targets. I'll have some stories for next week, but here's some of the most important stuff.

• California QB Nick Sipe attended the camp after using the bulk of the day to make an unofficial visit to Purdue, which has offered. He did participate in the camp. He's got Boise State and Colorado State offers, among others, and continued interest from Washington and Colorado. He expects to commit in the next month and for that reason Purdue would look to be in pretty solid shape here headed into that decision mode. We'll have an in-depth update and video interview with Sipe to run early next week.

C.J. Hayes may be Purdue's top wide receiver prospect and maybe one of its top offensive targets, period, considering he's expected to make his decision at the end of the month. Hayes literally got to Purdue around dawn today to watch the current team go through morning workouts, then just watched the camp. Purdue would seem to be in pretty solid shape here as well, with Hayes expected to make a commitment someplace on June 30. He didn't work out, but he didn't have to show he's all of the 6-2, 190-plus pounds he's listed at.

• Linebacker Terry Myrick from Georgia worked out at the camp and seemed to do some good things. Not the biggest linebacker out there, but he might be on the cusp of some bigger-school offers, Purdue included. Not sure he'll be offered right away, but Purdue seems legitimately interested in him. Arkansas linebacker Joe Britton stood out, too.

• Columbis area defensive backs Davionn Johnson and Darrick Forrest did some really good things. Forrest looks like an offer type to me; I don't know anything about Johnson but he dominated his one-on-one matchups in the three head-to-head reps on receivers I saw.

We'll have in-depth stuff on Sipe, Hayes and Forrest to come and hopefully an update on Georgia DB Tae Daley, who visited today. I didn't see him at camp, but I know he was on campus.
