Saw it in a saloon I frequent, but the sound was off (eff the vapid Muzak)….
Can anyone give me a summary of what Wilbon and Kornheiser said today?
Get out of your stretch 4 mentality!
East coast Tony wasn’t buying it.Wilbon was throwing down the challenge.....haha......stuff this!
Of course. If Indiana was in first the narrative would stress how many closely contested teams they have defeated this season.Get used to the narrative that since the Big Ten isn’t good then Purdue isn’t good. We’re gonna hear it for the rest of the year.
Get out of your stretch 4 mentality!
He was talking about 7+ footers being stretch 4s rather than post players.Only issue is the guy the other are talking about that hit 9 three's is a stretch 4, lmao
College basketball is kind of dominated by bigs who aren't shooters this year. Edey, TJD, Oscar, Bacot.Wilbon reminded us that there are a lot of people who remember big boy basketball at the 5. I’m sure we’ll get some of those non-Purdue fans tuning in to watch the Kraken go to work.
But using that logic, they can't explain why Houston is good.Get used to the narrative that since the Big Ten isn’t good then Purdue isn’t good. We’re gonna hear it for the rest of the year.
College basketball is kind of saturated by bigs who are big time prancing flexers: TJD, TJD and TJD
I love college basketball because on March 14, 1986 my dad pulled me out of school early to watch his Alma mater, the Cleveland State Vikings, make their NCAA tournament debut. We all remember how that game went, right gang? Wanna Google that one, Champerino?Purdue achieving a lot obviously this year. Finally being #1 in multiple weeks for the first time in program history. The last time a team went from preseason unranked to #1? Virginia. They finally became #1 when the 2/12 poll came out in 2018 and they finished the seasons polls out as #1. Now what is that team famous for? First 1 seed to lose to a 16 seed. But that's why we all love college basketball right?
Well I wasn't alive but I do know what happened. That's just the chaotic greatness of March.I love college basketball because on March 14, 1986 my dad pulled me out of school early to watch his Alma mater, the Cleveland State Vikings, make their NCAA tournament debut. We all remember how that game went, right gang? Wanna Google that one, Champerino?
