One of the Louisville news stations had a story this evening about Ky Kingdom, a small theme park on the Ky state fairgrounds in Louisville. The park has has struggled financially and changed ownership several times through the years. The new owner, from Columbus, IN I think I heard them say, brought in 16 engineers from Purdue that build theme park rides to redesign and improve the rides, per the interview. Purdue engineers no doubt build various things all over the world? Mechanical engineers having fun with a student led project? A little Purdue publicity in the southern part Of the state is a rare thing.
