We're at halftime here in Mackey Arena and Purdue is enjoying a 19 point lead 43-24 over the Colonels. Some thoughts.
- Purdue looks a tad rusty, as it has turned the ball over six times and is just 4 of 9 from the line. Not deeply concerning, but you take the observations where you can get them when up 19.
- EKU is only shooting 36.7% from the floor and is just 1 of 7 from three.
- As expected, Purdue is dominating on the glass, 21-12.
- Fletcher Loyer has 12 so far. Both he and Mason Gillis have a pair of threes.
- Lance Jones is scoring off the bounce, as he is 4 of 5 for 9 points.
- This kid named Zach Edey has only three points, but he is really tall, so maybe he can get a few more looks in the second half.
