In a piece from NBC News, Purdue University Professor Cheryl Cooky argued, "For anyone who cares about the advancement of sports, and women's sports in particular, her win should be celebrated."

If those claims of being a man having advantages over women are not founded in Mrs. Cooky's universe the university should question her understanding of how the world works and terminate her employment.

I'd like to send my kids to an institution that believes in science not make believe. It isn't too late to reverse that 94%.

CHERYL COOKY is a professor of American Studies and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

Doesn't sound like she has the qualifications to claim HE has no advantages over biological women.

Regarding your article written for NBC News:

As a proud Purdue grad, I'm embarrassed that you're associated with the University.
You, the University, student body and alumni base would be much better served if you were to resign and seek employment elsewhere.

A man can grow his hair, paint his nails, put on a dress and change his name from Bob to Barb, but despite his best efforts, wishes and wants, nothing will change the fact that he is still a man. Period (no pun intended).

Again, please consider taking your extreme views somewhere far away from Purdue.

I think letters to Mitch may be more efficient. I'm all for doing whatever you do in your private home. But forcing me to play make believe isn't going to happen.

Its sad that NBC FOX & other news outlets are running with this. Not the spotlight I expected for my university.

The only news I want to see this week is Purdue making it to the elite 8.

The issue that no one ever talks about is comparing conduct and behavior, to things one can not change, like Jackie Robinson's skin color. It is apples to oranges.

At least many of our majors aren’t liberal (Ag, Engineering, Technology and Science). At least that’s my hope
