Purdue 21 in both polls

to get higher, they'll have to continue to win and beat somebody higher !

Should have never fallen out. I can name at least 30 teams who wouldn't have fallen out.

Coaches Poll:

our schedule, if we can go 2-0 this week, is VERY helpful for us moving up the ranks the next few weeks..

IIRC, we play 2 games this week we should win, then we have 3 strait weeks where we only play 1 game each week, and then have a week with 2 home big ten games vs rutgers and nebraska

that is something like 5 strait weeks that we very possibly could and should not lose in... while all those weeks teams ahead of us can lose

we need to take care of business vs valpo and butler as those are the only 2 games that I worry a bit about

No reason after these next 5 weeks we can be sitting somewhere close to 10th

I would really like to see us beat Butler. They have had our number it seems for some time now, or at least it feels like it. Time to get that monkey off of our back.

Lipscomb is currently 134th in Kenpom. I'm not particularly nervous, but for reference WKU is at 118.

Point being, can't just skate through that one and expect a win.

No doubt funny but Purdue may not have too many opportunities to beat someone higher, outside of MSU. Gonna have to rely on a lot of other attrition from spots 1-20.
Very true. MSU is a great opportunity to get a huge signature win and the two games against Minnesota will likely be against a top 20 opponent, but the rest of the schedule doesn’t look particularly impressive on paper. Therefore, consistently taking care of business will be critical to earning a high seed.

Losses came too early and sadly the Boilers earned their fate.
It really doesn't matter how much suck others may have had were they in the same situation and avpided falling out.
Purdue deserved to be out and deserves to be back in, and actually I think they could be a little higher but the season is just underway really.
