Purdue 105, Northwestern 96 OT - Game Wrap

Purdue survives Northwestern in an overtime classic 105-96.

Game of the Year so far in the Big Ten.

17 FT misses left the door open for NW and they took advantage. Great game by them. But shoot our normal @ the line and it's not close.

It is quite remarkable that Purdue can beat a team that is shooting that well. Says a lot about how good this team is.

Congrats Boilers!

And congrats to Smith on assists...
is that a Purdue record??.....looked it up 2nd all time. 18 is the record.

Sure glad Purdue got that free throw disparity. We would be more than pissed if it was the other way around. 😁

We should have had more FTs than what we got. Several more actually. Alot of fouls not called. Glad the refs called what they did. I think people know it's legit with Edey that we draw that many fouls.

When's the last time Purdue scored 24 in a single overtime period? Of course, it helps when you get a free four at the end. Ironically, Purdue finished hitting 9/10 FT's in the last minute, IIRC.

The first Tech and ejection was for the coach on the floor. What was the Tech on Buie called for? He must have said something?
