Appleby superb, 2 TD passes so far. Can the three PU qb's playing today throw for 900+ yards?

He looks very poised and confident. Playing well so far. Just connected on another deep pass to get inside the Tennessee 10.

I'm glad for them. Commentator just said that it is much easier at Florida than with the guys he had.
It gives me two more teams to watch when Purdue is not playing.

The real question is which school will Blough transfer to. Since it has to be SEC, I think he goes back home to A&M.

What happened to Florida? I was watching the ND game and now they are down 17.

Pretty much Florida fell apart in the second half. The offense got pretty conservative as things got tight and Appleby didn't do much. He threw a pick after they were down 10 points. I wouldn't label him the culprit for this one because the Florida defense has been awful in the second half (and frankly were aided by about 5 dropped passes in the first half) but he hasn't done much to help in the second half either. If Florida was counting on him to guide them to 40 points to win the game they were sadly mistaken. I think anyone would've taken 300 yards, 3 tds, 1 int before the game started.

Watching all three, I still think we have the best one. I don't mean as a slight on any of them. But I continue to see the reasons why they were pulled at PU today.

I think they were/all are serviceable if coached up. I'm not ready to say who I think is the best yet. It's just fun to see the other two have an opportunity to play on a big stage elsewhere to see what they can do. Appleby wasn't bad today.

I'm good with that I'm rooting for all three. Although I preferred Etling over AA. I thought he had no business playing as a true frosh.

You put anyone behind a quality SEC o-line and surround them with good receivers and backs and they are going to look better than they did here. Our talent and coaching staff pales in comparison.

But then again, you get what you pay for. We are in the bottom tier for HC and staff pay, and we should expect to see bottom tier results.

C'mon MB2 - spend the cash needed to bring Purdue FB back to respectability.

TV clock is based off the stadium clock. Same thing.

LSU should have been at the line ready to go coming out of the penalty n
you wonder how long does Les the Hat have down on the Bayou, every year top 5 recruiting classes and some bad gameday decisions. On the other hand, watched one of my fave college coaches (Willingham) on friday night do a great job vs USC.
