We have guaranteed elite production at the 5, possibly even better over 40 minutes than the JJ and Miller years.
And different guys will kill it from the backcourt each game......6 out of the 7 guys rotating in the 1-3 spots have gone for double digits in a game already. We have been getting 11points, 5 assists, 1.4 turnovers per game at PG from Hill/PJ
MVP so far is team spirit. AJ and Haas cheering each other on. PJ and Hill cheering each other on. Its at least comparable to the Baby Boilers, Hope they keep up putting team success before individual sauce.
Also love how Florida and ODU message boards predict victories over us and call us Purdont in the pre-game threads while paying no attention to our #21 ranking.
And after the game, their credible posters giving credit beyond our #21 ranking. I especially liked reading the Florida board, this is a fan-base with lofty expectations that does not over glorify opponents and is used to success after winning the NC twice in the last decade (FF last year, and 4 EE in the last 5 years).
We are not playing like a top 4 team yet, probably a S16 - EE team, so lots of room to improve.

Purdue strikes me as a very good team. Tons of size. Lots of skill. Uses speed when needed. Swanigan is a really good player. Capable of beating you on the outside if you focus too much on their bigs. I think they could compete for the Big 10 title. They look better than either Michigan State or Maryland right now in a very small sample size.
If they consistently hit threes, this is a potential 1-2 seed.
Purdue looks very good to me..., size, incredible front court, excellent guard play and shooters.
It almost looks like a bunch of unskilled streetballers trying to compete with an NBA team.
I actually thought we'd win this game. Disappointing, but Purdue is really, really good. They're going to be a top 10 team by seasons end.
They have talent, like LSU, but are much better coached and disciplined than LSU was last year. That may be the best defensive team we see all year.
How about enjoy watching a top 10 team in Purdue with a high end big in Hammonds! And another Huge post player in Hass .. We are going to be a good team..this ismlikemplaying a Kentucky type team - enjoy the game itself
Purdue is a Top 10 team and absolutely killing us in their size. We will not see anyone of this caliber for the rest of the season I'm not upset about this loss. We have some work to do, but this ODU team will win a lot of games.
