Practice Day 1 and more (video)

Key observations, ranked in order of importance:

1. Raph hitting a 3 in Dakota's face
2. Biggie getting blocked by Vince
3. Dakota hitting a 3 in Raph's face
4. Cline driving around Hammons
5. Vince dunking like Vince Carter

this is really what caught my attention. let out an audible "wow" to myself when I first watched the video.

Nice list. Other things I enjoyed:

-Raphael and Vince chasing the loose ball down well after it's out of bounds.
-Close out drills. For a man his size, I think Caleb moves well laterally.
-AJ running the floor and the throwdown. He looks lean and mean. Damn, it's going to be a fun season.

2. I don't know if I'd call it a block, but I love how everyone seems to be making Biggie earn it.
3. I did like how Dakota responded (who knows who did what first and when with the editing).

Let's keep realistic expectations for Biggie. He plays way below the rim & doesn't elevate at all on his shots. It's no coincidence that he shot 25% or worse in all 3 of the elite HS games he played in this offseason. He doesn't have the size, strength, or quickness to score on elite athletes at this point. That being said, he's a + rebounder, + passer, + ball handler, and + rim protector. Those are the things that carry over from game-to-game more than scoring.

Dakota is arguably the most mentally tough player on the team. You can't put enough emphasis on the fact that he sank an NBA range 3 with the shot clock winding down & only a minute and a half left in the Tournament game. Or that in the link above he sinks a 3 in the face of the B1G DPOTY and then fakes like he got fouled on top of it. He has "it". Some guys just have "it" and you want those guys on the floor as much as possible.

Vince impressed me the most. I had to research to verify it was him with the block on biggie and not hammons

Your assessment of CS seems a little contradictory 'plays way below the rim' yet he is a rim protector plus.

It's a troll. Just put him on ignore. He lures people in by complimenting Purdue at first and then eventually starts making critiques or insults like the one you mentioned. Just about anytime you see a handle where it's a phrase or just any set of words all ran together (i.e. billyhillui or FinallyABoilerFinal4; he doesn't like to use spaces for his names), it's the same guy trolling with a different handle.

Hope him and Ray have improved their 3 shot. Really want a main rotation with Hammons, Biggie, Ray and Vince and then most likely either Hill or PJ
