Poor showing

in a packed in Big Ten, some teams rise and some fall. Purdue WBB has hit the skids. Tough loss at a good Iowa, but a prat fall vs a losing NEB team at home. Never really showed up. Started as slow as can and got buried by a lot of open threes. Maybe lost our pg Traylor as she hurt her leg and did not return. But this was the first game ( other than UConn) that this team has played really badly and frankly they stunk. Two of next 3 are on road vs MSU and this same Neb team.Season could collapse right here and put us in the NIT. We'll see what their made of. Disappointing.

Live in Jeffersonville, just got home from the U of L vs UConn women’s game at KFC Yum center in Louisville. Packed house - attendance north of 15,000. (U of L won, great game). Then I Watched the last quarter of Purdue v. Nebraska on BTN and it looked like maybe 1000 at Mackey? If that... talent and energy level of the Lady Cards (and of course UConn) were incredible. Sure hope Lady Boilers can get back to an elite level in the next few years. This season has shown some promise, but tonight’s game laid an egg. Geez....

When a team has 5 perhaps 6 quality players stuff like this happens when a few have off nights, deptj will be better next year but another player or 2 are needed, how about getting a good grad transfer? There has to be a mid major player that is a 13 and 8 girl that would love to play Big Ten hoops her final year!

Agreed, this is as good as it’s going to get.
Watching that Purdue WBB special was fun but sad as well. Until Versyp is gone, this is what you get.

How about getting a real coach so people start actually caring about women's hoops again.
