Players Tribune, PJ Fleck, Keep Rowing.

Some fans interpret this as him declaring just how hard it will be to leave WMU.....but you can also see it as the prelude to the conclusion of this era for him and that program. I wonder if he has a specific right hand man that would take over.
 
In that article, you can see a big part of my problem with Fleck....filled with I's, I'll's,,I did's....it's all about Fleck. Do the Boilers really need that?

Weird that you took an article basically explaining how he lives everyday to make his deceased son proud, and how living with an infectious energy is in tribute to his son as selfish. That's reading with blinders. You don't think guys like Saban, and Urban aren't a little selfish? That idea and mentality of doing whatever it takes to be the best includes wanting yourself to be the best coach out here. I'm NOT comparing Fleck to those guys not even close, but to answer your question, maybe that selfish attitude of wanting to be the best and make the programs you touch damn good ones, to advance as a coach is exactly the type of attitude we need.
