Can someone help me understand Purdue's (or more generally any) philosophy on when to switch on screens? It looked like we were switching on everything tonight, and while we did really well with that for the most part, there were a couple times it hurt us. It looked like the switching was causing some major mismatches-- several times PJ was having to guard Young (or another one of their bigs) which could have been a problem. PJ played it really well, not allowing the entry pass to Young when this happened, but it still seems like a less than ideal situation.
Can someone enlighten me? This is not criticism as it obviously worked out well. I am just trying to understand.
