Peacock Subscriptions

Since it looks like six Purdue basketball games are going to be on Peacock we might as well push subscriptions for it. You'll need it for the next two football games anyway.

At least this way you help us out here at Boiler Upload at no additional cost for Peacock.
Is the new NORM? Hell of lot cheaper to go to the local pub and have a few beers and not feed into the greed of the so called minor league pro sports that used to be called College (Education) Basketball. OH what used to be!

Reminds me of BTN in the early years. They asked folks to lobby to be on all the major cable platforms. They promised every game for every sport would be televised. 2-3 years later they introduced BTN+ and forced you to buy that separately.

While I'm not a big fan of this myself. It's like any other streaming service that's out there, you just have to decide if it's worth it to you or not. For me it's not worth it during FB season, but for BB it is. Arizona plus 5 B1G games, including one of the IU games is on Peacock. I'm not missing those.

Someone really needs to come up with streaming in which you pay on a per team basis. One monthly fee for whatever team/teams you wish to follow and you get ALL of the games regardless which network/streaming platform it's on.

There's got to be a way to do this.

Yeah, I haven’t forgotten that. The Big has really learned how to manipulate and abuse the loyal fan bases of the real Big Ten teams. If only we saw the ridiculous conference expansion coming as a consequence of that royalty money and as you said the bait and switch about seeing all games - I guess true colors are most vibrant in hindsight.

I get Peacock for free and have for a few years. When I signed up they had the option of commercials (free) or not I chose commercials. I don't know if this still available I like free I would pay if needed.

I don't see any free options.

pretty sure there isn't. Pesky contracts.......

If you want it for just PU hoops you only need it for 4 months. The Arizona game is in December and the other 5 B1G games are of course spread out over Jan, Feb and March. So for $24.00 you get the 6 games and whatever content might appeal to you. One of those games is the game in Bloomington. For me it's worth it, but I can see where some might say no way and just miss those games.
