This Men's BB season was an uptick from the past couple years. There were some letdowns and there were some times where the team played better than expected, but overall not a bad season.

Next year, these kids have another year of B1G seasoning and should be better. Whether AJ returns or not, it will have some effect, but Haas is the heir apparent and will have to get respect from B1G officials. Either way, our post play should be good.

I still have problems with Painter's coaching ... always have, always will. To me, he is just a younger Keady; and, several facets of the game have passed him by. But, it looks as though we're going to have to live with him for the foreseeable future. With that in mind, I'd like to see a more up tempo offense and more full court pressure on defense.

We have some awfully good players with better chemistry than the past two years. Having RJ leave after last year seemed to improve the team attitude. In the end, as always, I bitch and moan and groan like everyone on here; but, when the ball goes in the air at tipoff, I'm 100% into cheering for the Boilers to achieve a victory.
