I thought it would be fun to compare our center position to the PER 40 minute numbers of some of the best college big men since 1980 (which is around when they started recording minutes per game).
I know that this isn't a perfect representation of value. We are obviously only 5 games into our season, and most of these players were ELITE on defense which isn't well represented here, but it's just for fun.

TS% is True Shooting %, which tries to boil down a player's efficiency into a single percentage, adjusting for 3 pointers and free throws.
If a player has a 60% TS%, then that player is equally efficient as someone shooting only 2 pointers and making 60% of them.
