Was just thinking about the luxury of having rival coaches that are easy to dislike. For example, I thought Ty Willingham was likeable, so I was eager for nd to hire another coach. They did not disappoint with Weis and Kelly (easy to,dislike). Tom Cream was also a perfect fit, as he was just creepy and weird and easy to dislike. Watching him as a tv analyst now, I still get the creep factor vibe from him big time and find him quite annoying. I just can't watch/listen to him. Is it just me or do you folks still find Crean incredibly annoying?
I didn't get the same thing from Knight. I of course did not like him as a coach, but when he did his time as a tv analyst, I rather enjoyed listening to him. Maybe there is the age and time factor involved.
