$352,500 to her. I know the men and women golf teams (Reto was on that team) have each won a national championship. I wonder if a Purdue golfer has ever won a tournament at Golf's highest level before this? Great to see.

I did not know she was a Purdue grad til I saw it on a PurdueSports tweet on Monday. But I don’t follow PU golf - kudos to her! Boilers are everywhere!

I DO follow LPGA golf and knew she was leading but didnt get to watch the final round. Saw she won; hope there was a Purdue mention or graphic sometime during the broadcast - they often mention the golfers’ collegiate affiliation as they’re calling the play-by-play on TV.

Damon Hack mentioned her yesterday on The Golf Channel during "Golf Central" . Said she was a former Boilermaker and AA while at Purdue. He and Eamon Lynch discussed her( first S African winner on LPGA) while playing video of her sinking putt on 18 and getting doused with water bottles by her friends

Nice. She played for S. Africa at the 2016 Olympics and was on the team again in 2020, but withdrew I think due to Covid. I follow her on Twitter and she once showed some Purdue Pete golf head covers on her clubs. She has lived in Florida for many years (same as her parents), but still competes for S. Africa, similar to other athletes who compete for another country, but live in the USA.

Another Purdue Golfer Maude-Aimee Leblanc from Canada, who played on that 2010 National Championship team has also had some good tournaments on the LPGA circuit this year.
