I know it's a football school, but my God couldn't you have a better crowd than this? You're in the B1G, act like it!

I think everyone knows PSU was only welcomed into the BIG because of their football history.

It's always going to be like that there unless they have a miraculous season (a la NC State in '82-'83). In the Talor Battle years, they got pushed out of their own practice facility for awhile because Bon Jovi wanted rehearsal space.

OT: I'm watching Nebraska-Ohio State. I'm surprised Nebraska is still playing as well as they are in conference play. Tai Webster and Glynn Watson have really improved. They are the biggest surprise team in the conference. I thought they were destined for 13th place after losing a few key seniors and Andrew White leaving the program in late June last year.

Now that a large chunk of that history has been removed from the record books, I wouldn't mind seeing the big ten get rid of them. Hard to forgive a school that let those crimes happen.

Hypothetically speaking, say they boot PSU. Who do we add? I was really hoping we'd add Mizzou this last time.

I missed the end of the game. Did they cut down the nets and hand out rings? I figured they might slap some crutches on OG and limp him out there to get a piece of a net.

A friend who is a PSU fan thought that what was holding them back before they joined the BIG was the band box arena they played in. When they built the Bryce Jordan, he thought they would be able to recruit and be competitive. Hasn't turned out that way.

I have mixed feelings. In a conference with 14 teams, they can't all be good. Rather PSU and Rutgers in the cellar than Purdue.

There were whole sections without a soul in them. Their team is competitive, it's too bad they couldn't have had a better home court atmosphere last night. That has to be frustrating for the coach and players.

I'm not going to argue that our football crowds are bad. But let's keep in mind they have 46,000+ students and the b-ball arena holds 15,000. Not quite the same as trying to fill a football stadium. In addition, their team is actually competitive, our football team isn't.

That crowd last night was terrible, has nothing to do with our football team.

When Purdue becomes even average again on the gridiron ,attendance will improve.7800 at the PSU game last night was awful.

I would have been in favor of a more harsh penalty for their FB team after Joe was deposed. IU is still paying the price for cheating by continuing to engage in endless clapping and twitching on the sideline. PSU should have been required to hire Hazzell and keep him for 10 years. Then I would feel the punishment might have been more adequate.

I think them being forced to hire Morgan as AD for a decade is a stronger punishment.
