I admit I've only loosely followed the Pacers this season, figuring all the injuries early did them in. Should've learned my lesson after last season that the first 40 games don't mean everything. If you're the 1 or 2 seed in the East, a first round matchup against a full-strength Pacer squad (if George returns in any meaningful way) is a major disadvantage going forward, I'd think.
I was surprised to check out Stein's and Hollinger's power ranks on ESPN and see the Pacers in the top half, even ahead of the Bulls. Is everyone so down on the Bulls now that Rose is out? They still have a lot of guns on that team despite tonight's outcome which may just be a letdown from yesterday. Moore's game the other night was amazing.
