The pacers front office took a lot of grief for trading pg and getting what seemed like nothing in return. Looking at it now it doesn't seem as bad. V. Oladipo is actually having a good season. He scored 47 tonight. He is happy to be in Indy and you don't have George's salary.

This summer when PG is in LA it will look even better. Pritchard fleeced them. Love sabonis too. Wish they would move Thad at the deadline to get Sabonis and Leaf more playing time.

Honestly after watching sabonis play, had the deal been george for sabonis straight up I would feel good about given the fact that george is a gone and sabonis is under Indy control for a while. Add oladipo to the trade and it’s a slam dunk by the pacers front office.

I didn’t expect to feel this way at this point in the season. Thought they botched it.

Everyone thought they were nuts for doing this trade. Did the front office get lucky or did Pritchard know how good oladipo could be?

Yeah, very pleasantly surprised. I hated on the deal.

No one could have seen oladipo making this type of leap based on his career so far though

Oladipo has been tremendous so far this year, I'm amazed at his production, but I think the biggest thing people are missing is that Oladipo seems to be wired and wants to be a leader and PJ seems to be comfortable being second fiddle. Some guys just are wired to be a leader and that is what the team needed.

PJ?

What's going on with okc? No excuse for them to have a bad record but then again it's kind of funny.

Westbrook, Anthony, and PG are shooting 39%, 40%, and 41% from the field, respectively, and they're taking nearly 65% of OKC's shots each game. That's basically what it boils down to.

You can't trot out 3 guys who all need the ball in their hands to be effective, but are at-best average if not downright mediocre jump shooters in today's NBA and expect to win consistently.
